We’re having a lot of requests to take in dogs from the public. We have now stopped taking in dogs from the public for a number of reasons. Only in exceptional circumstances will we take in dogs from the public.
Our concentration is with pound dogs who are on death row and ex racing greyhounds & dogs from The Haven Rescue in Ireland (when we have space). These dogs are our priority right now. Rescue at the moment are struggling to find homes for dogs in their care as it is without the excuses people give for wanting to get rid of their dogs. We also do not take in dogs who need short term homes. All our Fosterers are there for dogs who need homes. Cinnamon trust are probably your 1st port of call for temporary homes if owners go into hospital etc.
We will always take back our dogs who have been adopted only from our rescue. We do not take dogs who have originally come from another rescue unless discussed with that rescue and us. Only if we have space too.
