He’s in foster with a couple of other dogs, chickens, sheep, horses and donkeys so will be very sociable. Can be re-homed to family with children over 4. Good around other dogs, could possibly live with dog savvy cats. Jasper is only a puppy so will learn very quickly. And as he’s still young has a lot of energy. He is housetrained, crate trained. He’s had his vaccinations, flea and worm treated and microchipped. He will need neutering once the vets advise he’s old enough. Proof of this being done will need to be sent to us. George

Sex: Male

Age : 3 years

Breed:  Greyhound

Dog Friendly : Yes - larger

Cat Friendly: No

Kids : Over 13 years

Neutered :  Yes

Vaccinations: Yes

Info: Meet Gorgeous George.  Came in on the 16th September. D.O.B. 26/06/2019. George has gone into a foster home with another male and female greyhound. He absolutely loves humans company and will become a great companion and shadow. He has no idea of his size and tries to cuddle up to you as closely as possible.  He positively smiles in greeting - loves his walks, loves being in the car with you.    He is quite playful so a home with another similar sized female dog would be ideal.  No cats, small furries etc. He has a very high prey drive. Children over 13 only.  He has been clean in the home, is crate trained and we are working on building up leaving him alone as he prefers company, so a home where is is not left regularly would be better and someone who is willing to continue this work with him

He has free range in his foster home and curls up on his own beds or the sofa or occasionally the hoomans bed.  He is quiet so long as he is with you and sleeps through the night.

Home check and adoption fee apply.

No small furries, chickens or livestock.

Rita

Sex: Female

Age : nearly 4 years

Breed: : Rottie

Dog Friendly : Yes

Cat Friendly: No

Kids : Over 14 years

Neutered :  Will be

Vaccinations: Will be

Info:

Meet Rita our new resident Rottie.  Rita was sadly found as a stray and ended up in the pound. Her time was up and we stepped in to give her rescue space.

She’s slightly nervous of people especially men but once she knows you she loves cuddles and ear scratches. She has such a sweet nature.

We think she’s about 4 years old. Her teeth aren’t in the best of shape but we will be booking her in for a dental and for spaying. She is good with other dogs small and large. Unknown about cats so a home without cats and small furries. Children over 14 preferred as she is a shy girl.

Must have knowledge of Rotties and willing to give her time to settle and heal.

Home check and adoption fee apply.

Cain.png

Cain

Sex: Male

Age : 6-7 years

Breed: : Lurcher

Dog Friendly : Yes

Cat Friendly: No

Kids : No

Neutered :  Yes

Vaccinations: Will be

Info:

Poor Cain's new home has fallen through.  He is not enjoying his time in kennels and would love a home of his own.  We think he’s about 6/7 years old Lurcher as no details where on his microchip. Poor boy has a few scars on his body and a wound that’s healing on his back leg, he is also very skinny.

No children, cats or small furries he needs a quiet home.   He will need time and patience.  It is clear he has been let down by humans however he does have a lovely nature and seems to bond and trust very quickly.  He doesn’t know how to walk on a lead properly and goes round and round worrying if the handler is still there. This will get better the more he goes out.  He travelled well in the car.

He eats his food and treats like he’s been starved but in time once he knows he’s getting a regular meal he will soon slow down.

More details to follow as we get to know him more.

He’s neutered but will be vaccinated,  flea and worm treated

Home check and adoption fee apply.

Shelby

Sex: Female

Age : 2 1/2 years

Breed: : Cocker Spaniel

Dog Friendly : Yes

Cat Friendly: Not tested

Kids : Possibly older

Neutered :  Will be

Vaccinations: Will be

Info:

Meet new girl Shelby. Lovely 2 1/2 year old cocker spaniel. She had done her 7 days in the pound and no one claimed her.

She’s a lovely, lively, friendly girl. Loves a good fuss and play. She does pull on the lead and will need some training but over all she’s a great little girl.

She will need to live with older children as she may knock smaller ones over by accident. Can live with another dog or dogs. We don’t know if she’s good around cats or small furries so a home without them would be suitable. She will need a very active home to drain her of her energy.

As she’s only just come in we will have more info once she’s been here a week or so.

She will be vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and will be neutered.

She’s a lovely, lively, friendly girl. Loves a good fuss and play. She does pull on the lead and will need some training but over all she’s a great little girl.
