Breed: Greyhound

Dog Friendly : Yes - larger

Cat Friendly:  No

Kids :  Older

Neutered :   Yes

Info:

Born 13/01/2022. She come into our care from racing kennels but has never raced.

She is a very active girl full of fun and energy. Good with other dogs she was kennelled with 2 others and is in a foster home with three male greyhounds.

She does have a high prey drive so will need a home with either another similar sized dog or an only dog and owners that understand what this means. Supervised in a home with smaller dogs she is okay.

No cats or small furries.

Older children over 12 as she may knock younger ones over when playing or running around and is also a little unsure.   She is a gorgeous young girl who will make a great addition to a family she is full of life and makes you smile with her antics.

Apple is crate trained and happy to be left for a few hours but does need a good size garden to run around as she loves a game with her toys or football.   Apple loves to run so you will need to have access to a hired secure field to let her stretch her legs.

.

If you'd like to offer Apple a forever home, please fill in our online application form.

Home check and adoption fee apply.

Meet gorgeous new boy Hugo.  Hugo is an ex racing greyhound who’s just come into our care. His D.O.B. 09/08/2019.   He was rescued by the last racing kennels having been found in a horrendous condition and was skin and bone.  It would appear he hasn't raced for many years,  sadly spending his whole life in kennels.

Hugo is a very sweet boy who loves a fuss & cuddles. He hasn’t had the best life with crooked teeth (he’s had a dental) and his poor nose points upwards and he is a little goofy but he's adorable.   He seems good around other dogs but slow introduction to smaller dogs a must.   We will also test him once he has settled.

Hugo can live with older children 10+. He walks lovely on the lead and is very well behaved.

Maybe a little timid until he gets to know you and is a little hand shy.

Maybe able to live with a female greyhound or similar size dog or as an only dog.

No cats or small furries.

Hugo has so much love to give and so deserving of his forever home.  He needs a sofa and some home comforts asap.

If you'd like to offer Hugo a forever home, please fill in our online application form.

Home check and adoption fee apply.

Lifetime rescue backup. And can rehome U.K. wide.

❤️Rosie❤️

Sex:  Female

Age: 3 years

Breed: Jack Russell

Dog Friendly : Yes

Cat Friendly:  No

Kids :  Older

Neutered :  Will need to be after her season

Vaccinations:  Wil be

Info:

Meet new girl Rosie. Jack Russell. Came into our care on the 9th April from the pound having served her time and went straight into foster. She’s around 3 years old.

Here’s what her foster mum Julia has to say about her:

She is a tenacious little terrier. Very sweet and loving. Likes to be on your knee being pampered.

She is a terrier through and through, likes to chase the cats and hens......so no small furries.

She loves walks and adventure, would be an excellent companion to hike with.

Please bear in mind she has very little  recall (a work in progress) so no off lead for the time being unless in an enclosed and safe area.

We have no idea what this little girl has been through, she will cower if voices are raised and needs an adopter to help her gain confidence.

She has been OK with older children, but she has not met younger children while she has fostered with us.

Rosie will need a very well fenced garden, she can climb and get through very small holes. We  feel that once she realises that this is her garden with people who love her, it will become less and less, as it has in our garden as she has become more settled.

Rosie needs patience and consistency to help her become the amazing dog we know she can be.

Whoever adopts her will be so, so lucky to have her.

She gets on well with other dogs but will tell them off if they are being too much for her.

So a home with another dog, no cats, chickens or small furries. Children over 10.

She will be vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated. We don’t know if she is neutered so will need doing 3 months after her season (NON NEGOTIABLE ).

Home check and adoption fee apply.

Lifetime rescue backup. And can rehome U.K. wide.

This is what her foster Dad has to say about her.

Amy is an easy going wee girl who likes to be near you, she'll follow you everywhere and on the walks she nudges and mouths your hand just making sure that you're still there. Amy needs a  home that will love this gentle wee girl she doesn't ask for much just for someone to be there and give her loads of strokes and cuddles she's a little diamond

A very sweet small girl who’s good around other dogs. Loves her treats but most of all a good ear rub. Good on lead and okay to be left for short spells.

Amy can live with other dogs but not cats or small furries. She can live with older children 8+ as she may knock smaller ones when playing or doing zoomies.

APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED

Sex:  Male

Age: 3 years

Breed: Westie x Jack R

Dog Friendly : Yes

Cat Friendly: No

Kids : Older

Neutered :  Needs to be

Vaccinations:  Will be

Info:

Meet new boy Jimmy, came into our care on 9th April and went straight into foster. He’s a Westie cross Jack Russell about 3 years old.

Here’s what his foster mum has to say about him.:

Jimmy Mac - is a quiet kind of guy. He enjoys his walks and likes attention, but also likes time in his basket.

Remember that he is a terrier and he likes to chase our cats and chickens. Very keen on looking out for rabbits on his walks, so no small furries.

He would do well as an only dog, but does enjoy having brothers and sisters and plays well with other dogs.

He is a very sweet loving little dog, likes to be on your knee and just being loved.

He has met older children while being fostered with us, but has not met younger children.

He likes to potter around the garden with you and just enjoy that quiet company, but is always up for a good walk. He has started recall training, but still not 100%.

He barks very little, but does let you know if someone comes to the door.

We have no knowledge on what has happened or where he has been in his past. Loud noises, shouting and sudden unexpected movements can frighten him and have him running to the safety of his basket so for this reason no small children.

Jimmy Mac needs a home with loads of love and patience to help him gain confidence and live his life feeling secure. This will be paid back to the right adopter by this lovely dog.

So he can live with other dogs or just on his own. No cats or small furries. Older children over 10 or not at all due to him being so shy.

Home check and adoption fee apply.

Lifetime rescue backup. Can rehome U.K. wide.

Cookie.png

❤️Cookie ❤️

Sex:  Female

Age: 5 years

Breed: Chihuahua

Dog Friendly : Yes

Cat Friendly: Possibly

Kids : No

Neutered :  Needs to be

Vaccinations:  Will be

Info:

Meet new girl Cookie. She’s a 5 year old Chihuahua. Came into our care through no fault of her own and with her 3 year old son Waffle.

They have settled well into foster with many other dogs. She is a little scared of the bigger dogs but is fine with the smaller ones and is a little bossy with them but not aggressive.

She loves to potter around the garden. She’s house trained. We would love her to be homed with Waffle but we know that’s big ask so would consider letting her go on her own.

She can live with other smaller dogs. No children because she can get scared.  Maybe also with a dog savvy cat. We do not know if she has been neutered so will wait to see if she comes into season. If she does she will then need neutering 3 months after she finishes - this will not be negotiable.

Home check and adoption fee apply.

Lifetime rescue backup. Can rehome U.K. wide.
