Sex:  Female

Age:  3 years

Breed: Greyhound

Dog Friendly : Yes - larger

Cat Friendly:  No

Kids :  Older

Neutered :   Yes

Info:

Date of Birth: 13/01/2022

Apple came into our care from racing kennels — though she never raced, she's ready to start a whole new life as someone’s beloved pet.

Apple is a playful, affectionate young Greyhound who radiates fun and personality. Whether she’s playing football, having a game of tug with her toys, or showing off her silly side, Apple is guaranteed to keep you laughing and on your toes. If you're looking for a dog full of life, love, and entertainment — Apple is your girl!

Apple is currently thriving in a foster home with three male Greyhounds and gets along beautifully. She was previously kennelled with two other dogs and is very used to canine company. She greets other dogs politely on walks and could live with another friendly, similar-sized dog — or be perfectly happy as your one-and-only.

Apple does have a high prey drive, so she’s not suitable for homes with cats or small furries. That said, she handles herself well around small dogs with supervision.

Because Apple is still learning to manage her excitement, she’s best suited to a home with older children. Her enthusiasm for play could be a bit too much for little ones!

Apple ideal home would be

A secure, good-sized garden where she can zoom and play

Access to an enclosed field or secure area for safe exercise

An adopter who understands or is willing to learn about prey drive

A loving, active home ready to include her in all of life’s adventures

Apple is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and comfortable being left for a few hours. Apple also travels well in the car and is a star at cafes — calm, settled, and happy to lounge by your feet while you sip your coffee.

Apple has a huge heart, a goofy charm, and a tail that never stops wagging. She’ll be your adventure buddy, your cuddle partner, and your daily dose of joy.

If you're ready to welcome a playful, loving girl into your life — come meet Apple! She’s waiting to light up your world.

If you'd like to offer Apple a forever home, please fill in our online application form.

Age:  2 years

Breed: Lurcher

Dog Friendly : No

Cat Friendly:  No

Kids :  Yes - older

Neutered :   Yes

Vaccinations:  Yes

Info:

Sam’s story hasn’t had the easiest start. Picked up as a stray in Laois and never reclaimed, he arrived at the pound in rough shape—suffering from mange, sore skin, and the telltale signs of a hard life. But everything changed when The Haven Rescue in Ireland stepped in before coming over to us to find his forever home he’s always deserved.

At around 2 years old, Sam is a young, confident, and sociable sighthound with a zest for life and a love of the outdoors. He’s not just handsome—he’s the total package for someone who leads an active lifestyle and wants a loyal companion by their side.  He is hating kennels and longs to be outside maybe as your canicross buddy or your hiking companion

Sam loves his walks, and if you’re into long hikes, gentle jogs, or countryside adventures, he’s your perfect match. He’s more than your average laid-back sighthound—this boy has energy, enthusiasm, and a real thirst for exploring the world with his people.

Sam is castrated, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and even has his own passport—ready to travel wherever life takes him. He’s put the past behind him and is thriving with proper care, love, and a second chance.

He travels well and adores going out and about. Pup cups on the way? He won’t say no!

Sam’s Ideal Home:
Active household with plenty of daily exercise
Live as an only dog

No cats or small furries
Loves attention and will happily curl up for a post-adventure snooze
A family or individual ready to make amazing memories with him

Sam has endured a rough start, but you’d never know it by his joyful, eager personality. He’s ready to trade in his scars for cuddles, his lonely past for loving companionship, and his shelter kennel for a home filled with love and adventure.

Could you be Sam’s forever person? Get in touch to meet this brave, beautiful boy—your next best friend is waiting!

He is vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated. He is also neutered. Lifetime rescue backup. And can rehome U.K. wide. only if you’re willing to travel to north wales to meet the dog.

💜River💜A Bright, Bouncy Girl Looking for Her Forever Home

Sex: Female

Age.  1 year 8 months old

Breed: Labrador x

Dog Friendly : Yes

Cat Friendly: No

Kids : Yes 8+

Neutered : Will need to be after her next season

Vaccinations: Yes

Info:

Unfortunately River adoption didn't work out and she is back looking for a home.   River, is a beautiful 1-year-8-month-old Labrador cross Collie, who’s as clever as she is cuddly!  River originally came into our care after being abandoned and ending up in the pound. Once her 7 days were up, we rescued her from PTS.

Although we don’t know much about her past, River has quickly shown us what a loving, friendly, and intelligent girl she is. She’s active, affectionate, and full of energy — the perfect adventure buddy for an outdoorsy family who enjoys long walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles.

During her brief adoption her Mum had this to say :-

  • Playtime: River loves toys — especially balls of any size!

  • Walks & Adventures: She travels brilliantly in the car and is always up for exploring.

  • Cuddles: After a good play, she’s happiest snuggled up on the sofa beside you.

  • Learning: She already knows how to sit, wait, and take treats gently — a very smart girl who will thrive with continued training.

River is a strong girl on the lead and will benefit from ongoing training to help with her pulling. We recommend using a martingale collar (1.5–2 inches) and a figure-of-eight lead for her walks.  We will also provide details of a behaviourist who will give you some help.  Due to her clever nature she will learn quickly.

She’s dog-friendly and could possibly live with another friendly, active dog after careful introductions.

River is not suitable for a home with cats or small furries — she finds them far too interesting! She also has a keen eye for squirrels and birds when out and about.

Because she’s bouncy and playful, River would be best suited to a home with children aged 8 and over who can enjoy her energy without being knocked over.

In a nutshell :-

River is bright, energetic, gentle, and loyal. She can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she’ll quickly become your best friend. She’s house-trained, travels well, settles beautifully in the home, and has so much love to give to the right family.

If you’re looking for a young, happy companion who’ll bring adventure, laughter, and love into your life — River could be the girl for you.

If you think you could offer River the amazing forever home she deserves, please get in touch today.

If your successful you will receive and email from us (please check your spam), have a home check they we invite you to meet the dog.

Home check and adoption fee apply.

Cat Friendly:  No

Kids :  Older

Neutered :  Yes

Info:

Hank has been with us a while, he is a beautiful big lad born on July 4th, 2019, who’s now ready to trade in his racing days for a comfy bed and a loving forever home.

Breaks our heart to think such a beautiful soul has spent 6 years locked up - he deserves his own home asap - he has done his time behind bars he has earn't the right to be loved and to have the comforts of a home.

He’s a big guy and might unintentionally bump smaller kids in his excitement so older kids are preferable.

Hank is a gentle, loving, and eager to please. This boy thrives on affection and would love nothing more than to be doted on.

After spending the first six years of his life in racing kennels, Hank has finally had a taste of home life – and he’s taking to it like he’s always belonged.

Now living with three other greyhounds in foster care, Hank has shown just how ready he is to leave his past behind and step into the life he truly deserves.

His foster mum describes him as :-

“an absolute sweetheart” who’s settled in beautifully from day one."

“He’s just fitted in like he’s always been here, it breaks my heart to think such a beautiful soul has spent six years locked up. He’s done his time behind bars – he’s earned the right to be loved and to have the comforts of a home.

Hank has quickly mastered the art of being a house dog. He’s crate-trained, house-trained, respectful with the other greyhounds, and a connoisseur of all things soft and comfy. He’s already discovered the sofa (and yes, it’s now his throne), and he absolutely loves a comfy bed.

He’s gentle, laid-back, and thrives on affection. At heart, Hank is a big softie who wants nothing more than to be close to his humans and feel part of a family.

Hank is the kind of dog that changes your life with his quiet loyalty and soulful eyes. He’s eager to please, easy to love, and more than ready to find a forever home that will love him back just as much.

Hank is more than just a good dog—he’s a once-in-a-lifetime kind of companion, and whoever welcomes him home will be gaining a loyal, laid-back best friend.

💙 If you’ve got space in your heart (and on your sofa) for a big, lovable boy who’s ready to be your shadow, Hank is waiting to meet you.

He is vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated. He is also neutered.

❤️Summer❤️ A Sweet, Spirited Young Greyhound

Sex:  Female

Age: 2 years

Breed: Greyhound

Dog Friendly : Yes - larger

Cat Friendly: No

Kids : Older 10+

Neutered :  Yes

Vaccinations:  Yes

Info:

Meet new girl Summer. D.O.B. 03/08/2023.

Say hello to Summer, a bright and beautiful young girl who has just come into our care. At just over a year old, she’s full of energy, curiosity, and affection — ready to begin her journey toward the loving home she deserves.

Summer is a friendly and playful young Greyhound who adores people and has a lot of love to give. She’s especially fond of cuddles and giving kisses, and she absolutely lights up around her favourite humans.

Summer’s Ideal Home:

  • Children 10+, as she’s still learning her manners

  • Another dog of similar size – she currently shares her kennel happily with Angus

  • No cats or small furries

  • An owner committed to continuing her training and socialisation

Summer has a high prey drive, which means she will need time and positive experiences to become more comfortable around smaller dogs. For now, she’ll need to be muzzled on walks while she continues her socialisation and learns how to navigate the world around her calmly.

She’s very food-motivated — which makes training easier — and is learning not to snatch treats in her enthusiasm.

Summer has only just arrived, so we’re still getting to know her personality and quirks. But what we already know is this: she’s a sweet, clever, affectionate girl who’s eager to learn and ready to love.

If you'd like to offer Summer a forever home, please fill in our online application form. If you’re successful you will receive an email from us (please check your spam), have a home check, then we invite you to meet the dog. Please answer every question in full and what we ask for otherwise your application will be deleted straight away. (Inc proof from your landlord if renting. )

❤️Ayla ❤️ – Looking for a special Forever Home

Sex:  Female

Age: 3 years

Breed: Dachshund

Dog Friendly : Yes

Cat Friendly: No

Kids : No

Neutered :  Yes

Vaccinations:  Yes

Info:

Meet Ayla a beautiful 3 year old girl who once again is looking for her perfect forever home. Sadly Ayla has been returned to our care after an incident where she became frightened and bit a neighbour who approached her too quickly.   While this was unfortunate, it highlights the importance of understanding a dog's boundaries - especially one like Ayla, who has had a tough start in life.

Ayla doesn't like people leaning over her or putting hands directly in her face, especially before she's had time to build trust. Really no dog should be approached that way - it's over whelming and can feel threatening to them.   She's also very protective of her owner, which is why we feel she'd do best in a home with another dog or dogs, where she doesn't feel the need to take on that protective role.

Ayla needs

  • A calm, adult only home (no children)

  • Another friendly dog or dogs in the house household - she gains comfort from canine companionship.

  • No cats or small furries – she’s not a fan

  • An active and understanding owner who will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe and loved

  • A calm environment without too many people coming and going.

Ayla originally came to us from the dog pound, so we don't know much about her background.  What we do know is that she's nervous around new people - but once she gets to know you, she's an absolute sweetheart. Her foster family says she's been no trouble at all since coming back to them, and they can't speak highly enough of her sweet, affectionate nature.

She is s smart loyal girl who just wants to feel secure and loved.

Ayla had a rough start and deserves a second chance - with someone who understand that trust takes time and love  takes patience.  If you have the right home and heart for a special dog like Ayla, we'd love to hear from you.

If you'd like to offer Ayla a forever home, please fill in our online application form. If you’re successful you will receive an email from us (please check your spam), have a home check, then we invite you to meet the dog.

Please answer every question in full and what we ask for otherwise your application will be deleted straight away. (Inc proof from your landlord if renting. )

❤️Yogi❤️  Our Gorgeous Boxer x Mastiff Puppy Looking for His Forever Home!

Sex: Male

Age: 4 months old

Breed: Boxer x Mastiff

Dog Friendly: Yes

Cat Friendly: Possibly

Kids: 8+

Neutered: Will need to be done when old enough (non negotiable )

Vaccinations: Will be

Info:

Sweet Yogi is only around 4 months old and, heartbreakingly, found himself abandoned and taken to the pound. After serving his 7 days with no one coming forward, we stepped in to offer him a safe place as his PTS date was due.  Awful a puppy left in the pound to die.

We may not know his past, but we know his future can be bright with the right family.

Yogi is an absolutely gorgeous pup with a loving, friendly nature. He adores other dogs and is full of energy, curiosity, and affection. Being a young puppy, he will need ongoing training, but he’s incredibly quick to learn and eager to please.

Because he’s bouncy and playful, Yogi would be best suited to a home with children aged 8+, as he may accidentally knock smaller children over.

He would thrive living with another confident dog who can continue showing him the ropes, and he may be able to live with dog-savvy cats.

Yogi is currently being fostered by our amazing fosterers, Julia and Mei, and their dogs. Here’s what Julia has to say:

Yogi Bear is a most loving puppy. He has learnt quickly from our dogs where boundaries lie. He is bright and playful— a bit keen to jump up but improving with gentle, consistent training. He is not housetrained yet, but he is learning quickly. He’s talkative, sometimes sounding like Bagpuss!

He is going to be a big boy, judging by his feet and legs. We know nothing of his past, but he is boxer-like. He will need a home that is loving and patient and prepared to put the training in to fulfil his amazing potential.”

Yogi is a beautiful soul who didn’t get the start he deserved, but he has so much love and loyalty to give. If you can offer patience, guidance, and lots of affection, Yogi will grow into the incredible companion we know he can be.

If you think Yogi could be the newest member of your family, please get in touch — he’s ready to find his forever home.

If you'd like to offer Yogi a forever home, please fill in our online application form. If you’re successful you will receive an email from us (please check your spam), have a home check, then we invite you to meet the dog. Please answer every question in full and what we ask for otherwise your application will be deleted straight away. (Inc proof from your landlord if renting. )

Norman.png

💜Norman💜  A Gentle Soul looking for a fresh start

💥RESERVED💥

Sex:  Male

Age: 3-4 years

Breed: Bedlington x Whippet

Dog Friendly : Yes

Cat Friendly: No

Kids : Older or no children

Neutered :  yes

Vaccinations:  yes

Info:

Say hello to sweet Norman, a gentle soul who’s just come into our care after serving his 7 days as a stray at the pound and due to be put to sleep as no one came forward to claim him.  This lovely boy is still finding his paws — a little nervous right now, but already showing what a kind and affectionate lad he truly is.

Norman adores the company of other dogs and would happily share his home with a calm canine friend (male or female). He’s a touch underweight beneath that soft coat, so we’re giving him plenty of small meals to help him fill out and feel his best again.

He’s just a bit bigger than a Whippet, travels beautifully in the car, and has been clean in his kennel so far.

Out on walks, he’s a dream — gentle on the lead and happy to stroll by your side.

Because of his shy nature, Norman would do best in a quieter home where he can build confidence at his own pace. He doesn’t seem to know any commands yet, but with time, patience, and a pocket full of treats (which he loves!), he’ll make a wonderful companion.

We’re still getting to know this gorgeous boy, so we’ll share more about him as he settles in. But one thing’s for sure — Norman’s heart is full of love and he’s ready to find a forever family who’ll show him just how special he is.

If you'd like to offer Norman a forever home, please fill in our online application form. If you’re successful you will receive an email from us (please check your spam), have a home check, then we invite you to meet the dog. Please answer every question in full and what we ask for otherwise your application will be deleted straight away. (Inc proof from your landlord if renting. )
