💜Apple💜 A Bouncy, Bright Spark of Joy!

Sex:  Female

Age:  3 years

Breed: Greyhound

Dog Friendly : Yes - larger

Cat Friendly:  No

Kids :  Older

Neutered :   Yes

Vaccinations:  Yes

Info:

Date of Birth: 13/01/2022

Apple came into our care from racing kennels — though she never raced, she's ready to start a whole new life as someone’s beloved pet.

Apple is a playful, affectionate young Greyhound who radiates fun and personality. Whether she’s playing football, having a game of tug with her toys, or showing off her silly side, Apple is guaranteed to keep you laughing and on your toes. If you're looking for a dog full of life, love, and entertainment — Apple is your girl!

Apple is currently thriving in a foster home with three male Greyhounds and gets along beautifully. She was previously kennelled with two other dogs and is very used to canine company. She greets other dogs politely on walks and could live with another friendly, similar-sized dog — or be perfectly happy as your one-and-only.

Apple does have a high prey drive, so she’s not suitable for homes with cats or small furries. That said, she handles herself well around small dogs with supervision.

Because Apple is still learning to manage her excitement, she’s best suited to a home with older children. Her enthusiasm for play could be a bit too much for little ones!

Apple ideal home would be

A secure, good-sized garden where she can zoom and play

Access to an enclosed field or secure area for safe exercise

An adopter who understands or is willing to learn about prey drive

A loving, active home ready to include her in all of life’s adventures

Apple is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and comfortable being left for a few hours. Apple also travels well in the car and is a star at cafes — calm, settled, and happy to lounge by your feet while you sip your coffee.

Apple has a huge heart, a goofy charm, and a tail that never stops wagging. She’ll be your adventure buddy, your cuddle partner, and your daily dose of joy.

If you're ready to welcome a playful, loving girl into your life — come meet Apple! She’s waiting to light up your world.

If you'd like to offer Apple a forever home, please fill in our online application form.

Home check and adoption fee apply.

Say hello to Minnie, a 3-year-10-month-old Miniature Pinscher with a big personality packed into a small frame. This lovely little lady came into our care after being found as a stray — sadly, no one came forward to claim her, so after serving her 7 days, she's now ready to find the loving forever home she truly deserves

Minnie is understandably a little stressed in the kennel environment — she’s not quite herself just yet, but we can see glimpses of the sweet, affectionate girl underneath. She's has just gone into foster so we will know more about her soon.

We’d love to find her a home sooner rather than later so she can decompress and settle back into the comforts of family life.

She’s clean in her kennel, walks nicely on the lead, and seems to have had some training in the past. Minnie’s already showing signs of being a real little gem.

Minnie's ideal home is

Minnie seems comfortable around other dogs and could happily live with a canine companion after careful introductions

Because we don’t know her full history, we recommend children aged 10+

We don’t know if Minnie has ever lived with cats, so to be safe, no cats or small furries

Minnie would thrive in a calm and patient home where she can rediscover what it means to feel safe, loved, and truly at home.

🗣️ "Minnie may be small, but her heart is huge. She just needs the right person to help it shine. We dont know why Minnie was abandoned nor what she has been through  but now she’s ready for her fresh start.

💜Terry💜 A Loyal Soul Looking for His Special Someone

Sex: Male

Age:  2 1/2  yrs

Breed: Lakeland Terrier

Dog Friendly : Only dog in the home

Cat Friendly:  No

Kids :  No

Neutered :   Yes

Vaccinations: Yes

Info:

Sadly, Terry is looking for a new start after his previous adoption didn’t work out. He’s a sweet but anxious little terrier who’s had a tough past – and he needs an understanding, loving, and experienced human to guide him.

Terry is not a dog for everyone – he needs structure, routine, calm, and above all patience. Sudden changes and unfamiliar situations make him nervous, and he’ll need time to feel truly safe and secure.

What Terry Needs Most:

  • A quiet, adult-only home

  • No visitors – or a plan in place for when people come over (he can be settled in another room)

  • No other pets – Terry was severely attacked by other dogs before coming into our care

  • A calm, confident owner with experience of terriers and their spirited personalities

  • Plenty of daily walks, outdoor adventures, and mental stimulation

  • A home committed to ongoing training and helping him decompress

  • Someone who understands that love, with boundaries and leadership, is what Terry thrives on

  •

In Return, You’ll Get...

  • A loyal, affectionate, smart little companion who absolutely adores cuddles, loves his toys, and wants nothing more than to bond deeply with his person. Once Terry trusts you – and he will, with time – he’s your shadow.

  • He sleeps through the night, is clean in the home, and can be left for short periods without issue.

His foster mum says:

“He’s doing so much better on the lead, getting braver around other dogs, and is a cuddle bug once he knows you. He’s a very lovable little boy.”

Terry can be left for up to 4 hours and he sleeps through the night.

You’ll have full support from our behaviourist and rescue team every step of the way.  Terry will need time and patience to settle into his surroundings and decompress and he will need training .

If you're the person who sees beyond the challenges, who values the unique bond that forms with a dog who truly needs you – then Terry might just be your perfect match. 💜

We’d love to find him a home sooner rather than later so he can decompress and settle back into the comforts of his forever family home.

If you'd like to offer Terry a forever home, please fill in our online application form.

Home check and adoption fee apply.

❤️Jack❤️  - The sweetest soul and the softest eyes

Sex:  Male

Age: 4 years

Breed: Greyhound

Dog Friendly : Yes

Cat Friendly:  No

Kids :  Older

Neutered :  Yes

Vaccinations:  Yes

Info:

Jack is a stunning black ex-racing greyhound with eyes that speak straight to your heart.  Born on May 15th, 2021, this gentle boy is now thriving in his foster home and proving what a truly special companion he is.

Despite a cataract in his left eye, Jack doesn’t let anything hold him back. His vision might not be perfect, but his spirit certainly is. He navigates daily life with ease and continues to enjoy every moment—whether it’s a walk in the sunshine or a long, luxurious nap.

Jack is affectionate, cuddly, and just a little bit timid when meeting new people—but give him a little time, and you’ll discover the warm, loving dog beneath that shy exterior.

His foster mum says:

“He is the sweetest soul and the king of snoozing. He loves coming over for a fuss, and you can tell all he wants is a warm, loving home that makes him feel safe.”

He’s already mastered the stairs and now keeps his foster mum company in her home office—although by “keeping company,” we mean happily snoozing on the floor!  He’s even discovered the joys of the sofa, and we think it’s only a matter of time before he claims it as his own.

Jack is beautifully behaved on the lead and enjoys his daily walks, where he’s had several successful interactions with other dogs. He’s fine with dogs his own size, and could possibly live with a calm female greyhound or similar-sized dog.

Smaller dogs? A slow and careful introduction is needed.

Cats or other small animals? Not Jack’s thing.

Children? He'd do best in a home with children aged 10+ who can respect his gentle nature.

Jack is fully vet-checked—neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and flea/worm treated—and ready to pack his modest belongings (a blanket, a toy or two, and his favourite snoozing spot) and head to a home where he can finally relax and be loved for the rest of his days.

If you’re looking for a quiet, gentle, and truly lovable companion, Jack might just be the perfect match. His foster mum says it best:

If your successful you will receive and email from us (please check your spam), have a home check they we invite you to meet the dog.

Summer.png

❤️Summer❤️ A Sweet, Spirited Young Greyhound

Sex:  Female

Age: 2 years

Breed: Greyhound

Dog Friendly : Yes - larger

Cat Friendly: No

Kids : Older 10+

Neutered :  Yes

Vaccinations:  Yes

Info:

Meet new girl Summer. D.O.B. 03/08/2023.

Say hello to Summer, a bright and beautiful young girl who has just come into our care. At just over a year old, she’s full of energy, curiosity, and affection — ready to begin her journey toward the loving home she deserves.

Summer is a friendly and playful young Greyhound who adores people and has a lot of love to give. She’s especially fond of cuddles and giving kisses, and she absolutely lights up around her favourite humans.

Summer’s Ideal Home:

  • Children 10+, as she’s still learning her manners

  • Another dog of similar size – she currently shares her kennel happily with Angus

  • No cats or small furries

  • An owner committed to continuing her training and socialisation

Summer has a high prey drive, which means she will need time and positive experiences to become more comfortable around smaller dogs. For now, she’ll need to be muzzled on walks while she continues her socialisation and learns how to navigate the world around her calmly.

She’s very food-motivated — which makes training easier — and is learning not to snatch treats in her enthusiasm.

Summer has only just arrived, so we’re still getting to know her personality and quirks. But what we already know is this: she’s a sweet, clever, affectionate girl who’s eager to learn and ready to love.

If you'd like to offer Summer a forever home, please fill in our online application form. If you’re successful you will receive an email from us (please check your spam), have a home check, then we invite you to meet the dog. Please answer every question in full and what we ask for otherwise your application will be deleted straight away. (Inc proof from your landlord if renting. )

❤️Lexi❤️  A Petite Greyhound with a Heart Full of Love

Sex:  Female

Age: 3 years

Breed: Greyhound

Dog Friendly : Yes - larger

Cat Friendly: No

Kids : Older 8+

Neutered :  Yes

Vaccinations:  Yes

Info:

Say hello to Lexi, a stunning 3-year-old ex-racing Greyhound who’s already turning heads and stealing hearts. She arrived with her kennel mate Sophie and has been charming everyone from the moment she stepped through the door. With her elegant build, striking markings, and gentle nature, Lexi is a true gem waiting for her forever home.

Lexi is a classic Greyhound in all the best ways—laid-back, affectionate, and calm—but she’s also got a fun, playful spark that makes her extra special. She loves being around people, whether it’s for a cuddle on the sofa or a gentle game in the garden. Her tail rarely stops wagging, and her friendly nature is impossible to resist.

Lexi is proving to be very dog-friendly, especially around other Greyhounds and similar-sized breeds. She’s polite, calm, and happy in canine company. We're still getting a sense of how she feels around smaller breeds, but so far, signs are looking good.  She has also just gone into foster with 2 other greyhounds so will get more feedback from her foster Dad soon.

Lexi could make a wonderful addition to a family with children aged 8 and up. She's a sweet and gentle soul, but her excitement during playtime might be a little too much for very small kids. Her affectionate nature, though, makes her a fantastic companion for older children who can understand her size and energy.

No Cats or Small Furries

Lexi is currently working on her lead manners. While she can be a bit eager and pull slightly when something catches her interest, she responds well to calm, patient handling. She’s not overly food-motivated, but her strong bond with people means she’s keen to please and eager to connect.

One of Lexi’s most endearing traits is her petite size—ideal for sofa snuggles after a peaceful stroll. She’s got all the grace of a Greyhound, but in a more compact package!

We’re still learning about Lexi’s quirks and preferences as she settles in, but what’s already clear is that she’s a very special girl. Sweet, calm, and full of love, she’s more than ready to trade in her racing days for a cozy home and a loving family.

Lexi is looking for a home that offers:
A comfy sofa and gentle walks
Children aged 8+
No cats or small furries

Ideally another sighthound or dog of similar size
Patience and love while she adjusts to home life

If you’re ready to open your heart to a retired racer who’s got so much love to give, Lexi could be your perfect match.

If you'd like to offer Lexi a forever home, please fill in our online application form. If you’re successful you will receive an email from us (please check your spam), have a home check, then we invite you to meet the dog. Please answer every question in full and what we ask for otherwise your application will be deleted straight away. (Inc proof from your landlord if renting. )

Zulu is a gentle soul who loves human company and is happiest when he’s getting attention and affection. He’s easy to walk on lead and loves to play fetch – he’ll even bring the ball back to you like a pro!

Zulu could live with:
A calm, female dog of a similar size (he previously lived with a female Pug)

Ayla.png

❤️Ayla❤️ Looking for a special forever home

Sex: Female

Age: 3 years

Breed: Dachshund

Dog Friendly : Yes

Cat Friendly: No

Kids : No

Neutered :  Yes

Vaccinations:  Yes

Info:

Meet Ayla, a beautiful 3-year-old girl who is once again looking for her perfect forever home. Sadly, Ayla has been returned to our care after an incident where she became frightened and bit a neighbour who approached her too quickly. While this was unfortunate, it highlights the importance of understanding a dog’s boundaries — especially one like Ayla, who has had a tough start in life.

Ayla doesn't like people leaning over her or putting hands directly in her face, especially before she's had time to build trust. And really, no dog should be approached that way — it's overwhelming and can feel threatening to them. She’s also very protective of her owner, which is why we feel she’d do best in a home with another dog or dogs, where she doesn’t feel the need to take on that protective role.

Ayla needs:-

  • A calm, adult-only home (no children)

  • Another friendly dog or dogs in the household – she gains comfort and confidence from canine companions

  • No cats or small animals, please

  • An active and understanding owner who will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe and loved

  • A calm environment without too many new people coming and going

Ayla originally came to us from the pound, so we don’t know much about her background. What we do know is that she’s nervous around new people — but once she gets to know you, she’s an absolute sweetheart. Her foster family say she’s been no trouble at all since coming back to them, and they can’t speak highly enough of her sweet, affectionate nature once she feels safe.

She’s a smart, loyal girl who just wants to feel secure and loved. With time, patience, and the right environment, Ayla will make a truly devoted companion.

Ayla has had a rough start, but she deserves a second chance — with someone who understands that trust takes time, and love takes patience. If you have the right home and heart for a special dog like Ayla, we’d love to hear from you.

If you'd like to offer Ayla a forever home, please fill in our online application form. If you’re successful you will receive an email from us (please check your spam), have a home check, then we invite you to meet the dog. Please answer every question in full and what we ask for otherwise your application will be deleted straight away. (Inc proof from your landlord if renting. )
