Adoptions, Rehoming & Volunteering.

Good evening.

Just a reminder regarding adoptions, rehoming and volunteering at Skylor’s Animal Rescue because we are asked all the time.

ADOPTIONS

We rehome U.K. wide.

We are able to do home checks throughout the U.K.

We do need applicants to be able to travel to our head office in Dobshill, in Flintshire, North Wales to meet our dogs and adoptions.

Over the years we have rehomed many dogs from up and down the U.K.

REHOMING

We no longer take in dogs from the public unless the dog has previously been adopted from Skylor’s Animal Rescue or in exceptional circumstances (at our discretion)

We stopped taking dogs in from the public over a year ago.

We take in dogs from the pound (on death row) and ex racing greyhounds.

VOLUNTEERING

Due to most of our dogs being in foster homes. We only need volunteers for fostering and fundraising. We don’t have any opportunities for dog walking etc.

If your interested in fostering please fill out our online application form on our website, fosterers need to be within 20 mile radius of our head office in CH5 3LZ or able to get our dogs to an Animal Trust Vets and to get too and from head office.
