Welcome to Skylor’s Animal Rescue. We are a small passionate foster based dog rescue, non profit and run by a family of 3. Dogs are mostly in foster homes with families and not in one place so please respect that you can not just drop by to see our dogs.
We rescue dogs from the pound unwanted and abandoned, pets who can no longer stay with their family and ex racing greyhounds straight from the track. We also help rescue and reunite dogs to their owners.
Viewing is by appointment only. Please note you cannot turn up without an appointment.
Our hours are :
Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 4pm
CLOSED Sunday and Monday
Thank you / Diolch yn fawr

for The New Year
We are looking for a couple of volunteers to help us at Skylor’s. Someone who can start at 8am 3/4 days a week. Cleaning, feeding and exercising our dogs on our field. This is just in the mornings. As we’re getting busier it’s becoming harder to manage with one person. Volunteers must be trust worthy and reliable. Committed to doing the same days if possible but can be a little more flexible. I’m very choosy who will get the positions as the dogs are the most important thing in my life. You will need employment references and be willing for me to chat with your employers. No smoking on the premises. Message us if you can help. Dobshill, Flintshire.
If you are interested in adopting any of our dogs - please go to the top of the screen, click on the black square, go down to Adoption Application. Click on the link which will take you to the online application form, fill in with as much detail as possible and submit.
