About us

Welcome to Skylor’s Animal Rescue. We are a small passionate foster based dog rescue, non profit and run by a family of 3. Dogs are mostly in foster homes with families and not in one place so please respect that you can not just drop by to see our dogs.

We rescue dogs from the pound unwanted and abandoned, pets who can no longer stay with their family and ex racing greyhounds straight from the track. We also help rescue and reunite dogs to their owners.

Viewing is by appointment only.  Please note you cannot turn up without an appointment.

Our hours are :

Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 4pm

CLOSED Sunday and Monday

Thank you / Diolch yn fawr

Could you volunteer? Whether it be dog walking, fundraising or fostering. We're always in need of your help.

Weekday walkers. Mornings preferably. Unfortunately we can’t take on anyone under 18 years old and you must have experience with dogs, especially larger breeds.

Please get in touch if you could spare a couple hours a day.

Dooby our 17 year old elderly pup who’s in a forever foster home had an altercation with another dog over the weekend. Unfortunately he came off worse and ended up at the vets. His bill so far is £190 plus another small op on Wednesday to stitch up the big bite on his back with the drain in.   Any donations towards his vet bill will be gratefully received.
