About us
Welcome to Skylor’s Animal Rescue. We are a small passionate foster based dog rescue, non profit and run by a family of 3. Dogs are mostly in foster homes with families and not in one place so please respect that you can not just drop by to see our dogs.
We rescue dogs from the pound unwanted and abandoned, pets who can no longer stay with their family that are from us or in certain circumstances and ex racing greyhounds straight from the track. We also help rescue and reunite dogs to their owners.
Viewing is by appointment only. Please note you cannot turn up without an appointment.
Our hours are (this includes telephone, email and message contact) :
Tuesday to Saturday 10am till 3pm
CLOSED Sunday and Monday Inc calls

2025 - Happy New Year
We hope everyone had a good festive break. The New Year has certainly started with a bang for us. 3 dogs with emergency vet needs. Bailey (greyhound) had cut his leg requiring emergency vet treatment and stitches. Percy needed an emergency dental and last but not least poor Arthur (dachshund) who came into us from the pound between Xmas and New Year. He had gone to be neutered and the vets called to say that he has a broken jaw (most likely sustained from being kicked violently and possible up to 1 year ago). How he is such a happy dog. He is hand shy but loves a cuddle and plays with the other dogs. We cannot imagine the pain he must be enduring. We need to get this fixed but it is major surgery. He is booked in to have this once recovered from his neutering but the operation is going to cost between £2000 - £3000. As a small rescue this has a big impact so any donations would be gratefully received. Please click the QR below to donate - every penny really does help.

Sponsoring a long term foster or Sponsoring a kennel
Reggie our Rottie boy is still with us. Unfortunately we don’t feel we will ever find him a loving new home that can help him with his issues. So unless we can find a perfect sanctuary for him, he will be staying with us forever and will be planning on getting him a great new kennel for him to enjoy.
We have 1 forever foster dogs. Bertie 15 years old who is with amazing Julia & Meirion. He will live out his days with them.
Sponsoring a kennel provides a lifeline, a safe place, warmth, food, shelter, love and a chance of a new loving family. For more information click here.
PayPal adding us as friends and family so we don’t get charged. skylorsanimalrescue@btinternet.com
